Crystal Ball Cards

Look into your future with these whimsical crystal ball cards. You simply need some colored cardstock and a handpunch. We used a flowered hand punch but you can use whatever you have on hand. A snowflake hand punch would be cute and you could turn it into a snowglobe.

Supply List

  • Colored Card Stock

  • Decorative Hand Punch (We used a flower hand punch)
  • A Circle Cutter or a Round Glass or Can (To trace around for the globe)
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Glue Stick

  1. Fold a piece of cardstock in half to use as your card.
  2. Use your circle cutter to cut the globe shape in the middle of your card. If you don't have a circle cutter, you can trace a circle using a round can or glass. Then using a fine pair of scissors cut out the circle.
  3. Cut out a small rectangle from black cardstock for your base. Cut out slants on both ends so that it makes your base. Use your glue stick to attach the base to the bottom of your globe.
  4. Take a square of white cardstock and glue it to the back of your card so that it shows through the globe to form background of the globe.
  5. Use your paper punch to cut out a bunch of flowers out of several different colors of card stock.
  6. Use your gluestick to cover the white globe background with a thin film of glue.
  7. Sprinkle the flowers on the glue. Press them firmly down to make sure they will stick and allow to dry.
