Supply List

  • Card Stock in a Variety of Colors
  • Thread
  • Tape
  • Gluestick

  • Scissors
  • Paper Cutter

  1. Cut a piece of card stock that is 7"x6" in size. This will be the front of the card. Cut another piece of card stock that is also 7"6" in size. This will be the back of your card. Later you will attach these two pieces together. Alternatively, you can use any size rectangle of card stock and fold it in half. We used the first method so that we could have two different colors of card stock for the front and back of the card.
  2. Draw and cut out the border of front part of your card. We drew and cut out a fishbowl shape.
  3. Cut out a fish, the ground, some rocks, a plant, and a bubble to put your message in out of different colors of cardstock.
  4. Glue the background pieces (the ground, the rocks, the plant) to the back of your card.
  5. Attach a piece of thread to the fish and to the message bubble and attach the other ends to the top border of your card so that they hang down like a mobile.
  6. Attach the front and back of your card with some tape and you're finished.
