Tips & Tricks - Last Minute Halloween Decorating Tips

If you waited until the last minute to decorate for your halloween party, don't despair! We have some quick and easy tips for you to turn your house into a spooky wonderland of fun!

    • Fill your children's carved pumpkins with branches of leaves from your backyard like a make-shift planter! If you have some fake spider webs, we sure to string them over the leaves.
    • Hang some fake bats from chandeliers or ceiling fans. If you don't have the rubber ones, you can always make some from construction paper and string to hang them. You may just need to attach a penny to them to get them weighted down nicely.
    • Create your own mad scientist's laboratory. Fill jars with colored water. Fill bowls with jello, pealed grapes, cooked spaghetti and whatever other icky things you think of!
    • Keep your carved pumpkins fresh until the big day by rubbing the cut edges with vasoline. If you line the inside of the carved pumpkin with foil, it will prevent the candle from burning the pumpkin and the jack-o-lantern will seem much brighter.
