Safety Tips For Burning Candles
There are a few simple rules you should follow whenever you want to burn a candle to ensure the safety of yourself and your family.

Before you light your candle be sure that the wick is no longer than 1/4" high. You don't want to have a huge flame on your candle.

Never burn a candle anywhere near flammable objects.

Always burn your candle on a heat resistant, flat surface. Remember, it is possible for a container candle's container to break. Be sure its in an area where if this happens, it won't cause any damage.

Never burn a candle for more than 4 hours at one time.

Always keep candles away from children and pets!

Always place a votive in a votive holder before burning it. Votives are formulated to liquify and the votive holder keeps the wax contained.

Avoid moving a lit candle. Candles in containers will get very hot!

Do not burn a candle in an area where there are drafts.
