Supply List

  • Beeswax candle sheets
  • 2/0 candle wick
  • Candle glitter (if desired)

  • Cookie cutter of your choice
  • Hair dryer

  1. Warm your wax sheet gently with a hair dryer to make it easier to work with. Be careful not to melt your wax.
  2. Cut out 10 shapes with your cookie cutter from the wax sheet.
  3. Place one of the shapes on a flat surface with the shiny side down. Warm the dull side with a hair dryer. Place another shape on top of it and gently pat down with your palm to make the shapes stick together. Repeat this until you have 5 layers of shapes.
  4. Cut a piece of wick the same size as your shapes. Place it in the middle of the stack, about 1/2" from the bottom of the shape. This should allow 1/2" of wick to extend from the top of your shapes.
  5. Continue stacking the remaining 5 sheets of wax on the top of the first stack with the wick using the same process as before. Be sure that the last shape has its shiny side facing out.
  6. If you like, you can brush some candle glitter on the outside of your stacked candle to create a shimmery effect.
